Camp Jackson Tour Part 1: The Pavilion

Welcome to your virtual tour of Camp Jackson, the site of the Sivert Family Reunion, July 2-5, 2011. As you enter Camp Jackson, you pass through the main gates:

On the right is the pavilion. I anticipate that this will be a central gathering place for the reunion:

There are 8 tables under the pavilion, each seats 8-10 people:

Inside the pavilion is a kitchen area, with a drinking fountain, cupboards, a double sink, and an oven/stove with six burners and a large griddle section:

There is also a large propane BBQ for grilling:

I originally thought the large silver thing pictured below was a fridge, but it's actually just a place to keep food and supplies safe from the wildlife. We'll have to use the fridges in the houses, and maybe have some ice and coolers handy.

Next to the pavilion is a swingset and sandbox. Nothing fancy, but it will keep some of the little kids happy for a while:
Also near the pavilion are seven tent sites, as pictured here:
There is also a firepit with seating around it. Smores, anyone?

The pavilion has a bathroom. There are two sinks, two private toilets, and a private shower:
